  I can't think of a worse customer service experience I've had. I've been coming here for 2 years and have insured a handful of vehicles with this office. I had never been particularly impressed with the service I received but went simply because of their convenient location. I went in this evening to cancel one of my plans and was very rudely told by a woman named Barbara that they couldn't help me. She did not bother to ask any questions about my specific situation, didn't make eye contact, and tried to scare me into keeping my vehicle insured under a very pricy plan. I tried to explain that I would no longer be driving this car and that I needed a storage plan but after 20 painfully wasted minutes I decided to go elsewhere. I couldn't believe it. The next office I went to (Sussex Insurance) helped me with a smile and accomplished what I needed in under 10 minutes. I also found out that much of what Barbara had told me was untrue. I don't understand why customer service wouldn't be a top priority for these agents. There are so many insurance brokerages to choose from and the prices aren't competitive, they're fixed. The ONLY thing that sets you apart from other offices is how well you handle customers. Try being sincere, or smiling, or keeping the customer's best interest in mind. DO NOT GO HERE. Unfriendly, unhelpful, and commission hungry. Take your business elsewhere. I would rather take the bus from my house than walk down the steet to deal with Barbara at Leaders Insurance. *Edit* Response to business owner: A further demonstration of the incompetence and, frankly, lack of caring when it comes to customer service. You will notice the patronizing tone of the response. I was not at any point looking for advice. As far as I am concerned don't solicit me if you aren't saving me time or money; I did not want to cancel my insurance, I wanted to put a storage plan on my vehicle that will no longer be driven. I spoke with ICBC directly and they said that this would not be an issue. I also spoke with an accredited body shop that advised me to do the same thing. Again, Look elsewhere.
